    Deposit
    Rold Gl. Kro – Denmark’s first dog-friendly inn – reserves the right to charge a deposit of 25% of the total booking amount during the summer season, on public holidays, and for larger parties or group bookings. The deposit is due within 30 days of booking. If payment is not received on time, the reservation will be cancelled.

    Online Booking
    When booking online, credit card details are required – no payment will be charged at the time of booking, but an amount will be reserved on your card. However, we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to one night’s stay if our cancellation policy is not respected.

    Booking Conditions
    Your reservation is confirmed and completed once you receive a confirmation email.

    Cancellations
    Guests who cancel at least 48 hours prior to 6:00 PM on the day of arrival will not be charged a cancellation fee.
    In the event of a late cancellation, no-show, or early departure, we reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to one night’s stay or retain the paid deposit. This applies to all types of stays.

    In case of cancellation due to acute illness, accident, or death affecting the guest or immediate family (spouse, children, parents or siblings), we strongly recommend contacting your travel insurance provider.

    Cancellations for groups and events
    For events, conferences, or group bookings of 12 people or more, cancellations or reductions must be submitted in writing (by email) no later than 4 weeks before arrival in order to be free of charge.
    After this date, a maximum of 50% of the confirmed arrangement can be cancelled – according to the following terms:

    • Between 30 and 20 days before arrival: up to 50% of the confirmed booking may be cancelled free of charge.

    • From 20 days before arrival: the booking becomes binding and no further cancellations or changes are allowed.

    • In the case of no-show, delayed arrival, early departure, or later cancellation/reduction, Rold Gl. Kro is entitled to charge the full amount for the cancelled services as per the final booking agreement.

    Rold Gl. Kro will, of course, make every effort to resell any cancelled services. If reselling at the original price is not possible, we reserve the right to invoice the price difference based on the original booking.

    Force majeure
    Should your stay be interrupted or prevented due to force majeure (natural disasters, strikes, acts of war, riots, etc.), Rold Gl. Kro cannot be held liable for cancelled or shortened stays.
